Romeo and Juliet Representation Project
Due Date: 5/1/17
Overview: The project asked me to pick one scene from Romeo and Juliet and transform the scene into a creative project. For the representation, two others and I chose to create a video that conveyed Act 3 Scene 1 of Romeo and Juliet. The purpose of the video was to turn a serious scene into something comedic and enjoyable. A video would allow the audience to really understand Shakespeare's message with more modern terms.
Skills Tested: The skills that the project tested me in was my reading comprehension which was needed when interpreting Shakespeare's words. I was also tested in my ability to compose a story from various different parts. Since while making the video we had various recorded scenes and we needed to put it together so that it made sense. I was also tested for my ability to work with others because we had various changes and we needed to compromise while recording.
Personal Reflection: I believe that my strength during this project was my ability to come up with funny movements and I was able to visualize the movie. Which helped when editing and filming. However, my weakness was not being able to actually direct the film since I was more of an actor as well as my failed attempt at dancing (You will understand the dancing part if you watch it).

Connection: By completing the project it will help me with my short-term goal of being more engaged in my learning. With the video, I was able to help create a marvelous production which I was given the honor to be a part of.
