Overview: The purpose of the assignment was to have a Socratic seminar about the Holocaust. By doing this assignment students would be able to leave with a deeper insight into the people, leaders, and events at the time. 

 

Personal Reflection: I believe my strength during this project was being resourceful. I found multiple pieces of evidence and I was able to get hard to find facts and got help from people who have been in courses or teach this kind of stuff. Also, I was able to be co-leader of the discussion. However, my weakness was that I had an uneven amount of research. For some questions, I had a lot more than others. So I should have added more to the shorter ones in order to strengthen my argument and to have more to talk about.

 

Skills Tested: The skills I was tested in for this assignment was being able to speak in front of people without dominating the conversation or letting others step over me. I was also tested for my ability to research a topic which is quite controversial and horrific.
