Due Date: 10/12/16

 

My Performance task was to pretend that my mother gave my $200 and I needed to create my own Thanksgiving dinner with enough food for at least 10 people. We had to choose between multiple food options like a small or medium turkey, ham, pig, muffins, cookies, and more. This task allowed me to actually see how math can be used in an everyday scenario. Also, this made me test my knowledge on financial cases because I needed to plan a whole dinner and it is not easy. I believe that I was able to organize my work clearly to show what food I choose and how much money I would have left after my spending. The next time I complete a project similar to this one I want to plan out my money more safely because I kind of went straightforward in the project instead of planning to get the most food for the less amount of money.
