Quarter 1

History Choice Board:

Due Date: 11/14/16

There are four options for the choice board but I decided to choose to build a model of a historical object. The project needed to connect with the thirteen colonies of America and had to be significant to the growth of America. The skills needed to create the project were accuracy, art skills, and patience. I choose to build a church because the colonists heavily relied on religion in order to get them through the hard times. To build a lifelike church I needed to look real close when cutting in order to cut straight which is a big problem for me. I also needed to have the imagination to see how to format and design the church. I also needed to be patient because trust me the church took a long time to build. Something I did good was being able to think outside of the box because I feel as though my church was able to contain objects I would not even have been able to think about last year. I also thought that it was good that I spent a lot of time to build my church because the end result was priceless. Next time I complete my project I want to be able to add more key features in order to make the church really lifelike so that even the people look like real colonists. Something else I want to do is: when I glue the snow outside of the church, I want to glue everything at the same time because then it creates a mess.
