Overview: The point of the assignment was to write a legacy about a historical person. We needed to write about who the person was, what he or she did, and why they will be remembered. By doing this I was able to research a person who I admire and see what exactly made this person worth something.

Personal Reflection: I believe that my strength during this assignment was my ability to really figure out why people still talk about Homer the poet. I found out his impact on Greece at the time and how today we still admire him. However my weakness was not being able to write more about him. Although I did find valid information about him and his literature I was not able to find more about him. In the future I hope to find more resources about him and his work.

Skills Tested: The skills that I was tested in was my ability to write about someone else. I tried my best to make Homer look as good as he really was. i was also test in my ability to interpret information to tell the story of a great historian.

What I learned: By doing this I learned that Homer had to overcome a lot to be where he ended up. I realized that I could relate to this historian who lived during ancient times.
